The kitchen is where friends and family come together for good food and conversations that nourish the soul.
“Life” happens in the kitchen more than any other room in the house. It’s where friends and family come together for good food and conversations that nourish the soul. The kitchens I’ve had the privilege of standing in have cherished memories and, in some cases, consoled my heartbreak. It gives me great joy to cook homemade meals and bake desserts from scratch for a crowd of one or dozens.
A couple of days ago I was staring out the kitchen window with thoughts effortlessly wandering in and out of my mind. I was reflecting on the life adjustments I’ve experienced this spring, the holiday meals I’ve cooked, what to do with my business, making cookies with my grandsons and how beautiful my garden is this year.
Today I share with you the views from my kitchen windows – looking out, and looking in.
Life is an amazing adventure; it was never intended to be lived in gray-scale.
